Your remodeling journey begins when you Contact Us to schedule an Initial Consultation. We’ll schedule a Project Planner to meet you at your home to walk through the space and discuss your goals for the project. This is the first step toward turning your ideas into something real!
At the Initial Consultation, we’ll ask about your ideas, pain points, and vision. We’ll also share realistic timelines & budgets for the project. Following this meeting, you’ll move forward with a Professional Service Agreement!
This agreement allows us to fully plan your project, giving you an exact cost upfront – so you can move forward knowing the numbers are accurate, not just estimated.
During this phase, our team will perform a site analysis, document the existing space, draft floor plans, create detailed renderings, and develop a comprehensive budget.
At the Design Presentation, you get to see your project come to life! Our Designer will work closely with you to make sure every detail — from layout to materials — feels right. At this point, you’ll move into the Construction Agreement.
When planning a New Build, you will meet with our Architectural Designer to create a custom floor plan that truly fits your lifestyle. Each of our custom homes is designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. Browse our Custom Home Gallery to view our past builds.
Once you've signed your Fixed Price Construction Agreement, it's time to finalize your selections and start ordering materials. We’ll guide you through the selections process and signing off on everything in Buildertrend. Our goal is to ensure your project starts on time and runs smoothly from the very first day of construction.
We use Buildertrend, our private online project management system, to keep all the details of your project in one place. This is where you’ll find invoices, selection approvals, project schedules, and more. Watch This Video to learn more about Buildertrend.
As a Custom Builder, we are proud to offer an endless variety of options. Our Interior Designer will guide you through choosing all the perfect finishes for your remodel (lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, flooring, cabinets, and more!)
Once your project is through selection and on the schedule, you’ll meet the dedicated Site Manager who will oversee your remodel. They will be your point of contact throughout construction, and you will have their personal cell number. By the end of your project, they may feel less like your Site Manager and more like part of the family!

Throughout construction, we keep you informed every step of the way with updated schedules and walk-throughs at each completed phase. At each walk-through, you have the opportunity to approve the work that has been done and talk through upcoming phases. It's our way of making sure you feel confident throughout the process, not just the final result.

This is the moment it's all been building toward — we can't wait to see you move back into the new space! Here's how we make that transition as smooth as possible:
Remodeling has a reputation for extending far beyond deadlines. Our Pre-Final Walkthrough allows you and your Site Manager to finalize a list of the finishing touches necessary to meet your expectations and close out your project properly. Each item is completed before the Final Walk-through, meaning your Final Walk-through is actually final.
This last stage is our favorite – you get to move in and enjoy your new space! Each Ferguson Builders project comes with a workmanship warranty. We're excited for you to enjoy this new chapter in a space made for you.
