From roofing in high school to carpentry after graduation, Mark has been in construction most of his life. He saw the need for better systems & leadership in the industry, which drove him to earn a degree in Construction Management at Bob Jones University, followed by a Master's in Business. While still in school, he founded Ferguson Builders with a simple promise: we’ll do what we say we’ll do, when we say we’ll do it, for the price we agreed to. That philosophy has grown Ferguson Builders into an award-winning design-build team that’s served upstate SC for over 15 years now. 

When he’s not pouring himself into the business, you can likely find Mark skiing, serving at his church, or spending time with his wife and two daughters. 

With her cheerful presence and problem-solving abilities, Cat is the glue that holds Ferguson Builders together! From maintaining schedules to onboarding new team members, she runs everything behind the scenes with grace, grit, and a touch of 90s nostalgia. Cat likes to say she always has 99 tabs open in her brain! Somehow, she still finds time to paddleboard and explore new eats on the weekend with her husband.

A Greenville native and BJU grad, Anna brings wit, drive, and the creative brain behind our marketing strategy! She shares Ferguson Builder’s story with the world through blog posts, videos, and social media. Anna is enjoying the newlywed years with her husband, and is probably daydreaming about a fixer-upper she found on Zillow. 

Bruce came to us with 20+ years in home improvement and a decade in remodeling design! An NKBA-trained designer, he loves showing clients options they hadn’t imagined and seeing the lightbulb moment when the right solution clicks. Bruce’s weekends are consumed with family time and his endless list of hobbies, including, but not limited to, stained glass, Rubik's cube competitions, and cooking with hot peppers. 

A UGA grad, Callie brings over 5 years of experience in the home improvement industry, with a focus on designing functional, customized spaces. She enjoys meeting with homeowners to identify what’s working, what’s not, and possible solutions for the space. For Callie, nothing beats the moment a client’s space transforms from frustration to joy! Off the clock, you’ll find her at the lake with her boyfriend or shopping at a local farmer’s market.

Hutson’s work philosophy is “get after it” and we can’t think of a phrase that fits him better. With 15+ years in the industry, he tackles each task with quiet grit and thoroughness (although he does let out an occasional “Wahoo!” from down the hall). Estimating is more than numbers, and Hutson coordinates materials and labor like a well-oiled machine. Hutson enjoys local BBQ, the great outdoors, and spending time with family.

A University of Florida Interior Design graduate, Rachel has earned her NCIDQ certification and brings over 15 years of high-end residential design experience. A winner of the prestigious National LUXE RED Award for Residential Excellence in Design, Rachel blends creativity with technical expertise to bring her clients’ visions to life. She has a passion for transforming spaces and loves the magic of a before-and-after. Outside of work, you’ll find Rachel on the tennis court, cheering on the Gators, or spending time with her boyfriend trying to keep up with their six kids and two dogs, Moose and Spike.

With a bachelor’s in Interior Architecture and Design, Jocelyn brings our projects to life through detailed floor plans, elevations, and renderings. She loves a technical challenge and keeps her creativity fueled with coffee (lots of it). Most weekends, you’ll find her teaching pottery classes, exploring lakes on her paddleboard, or squeezing in a weekend trip.

Originally from upstate NY, Steve moved to Greenville with his family to be closer to friends, lakes, and the blue ridge mountains! With an MBA in Project Management and 16 years in Custom Homebuilding, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. He enjoys the friendships built during the construction process and takes pride in delivering exceptional work. When he’s not managing builds, you’ll find Steve channeling his craftsmanship into restoring classic cars like his 1979 Corvette and 1983 Jeep CJ7!

Almost 10 years ago, Josh made the move from the West Coast to help out his brother, Mark. Josh brings incredible expertise to our team and a detail-oriented vision that completes projects right on budget and leaves clients raving about the final result. He coordinates our in-house carpentry team, trade partners, clients, schedules, hiring, weather, and much more – all with a smile. Ask him about his hockey team, the “Demo Crew,” and his own home projects!

Born in Upstate New York, just a stone’s throw from the Baseball Hall of Fame, William has always been surrounded by a sense of legacy and craftsmanship. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from SUNY Delhi before moving to Greenville with his wife and two kids. William brings an architect’s precision and a builder’s hands-on expertise to every project. Outside of work, he has a passion for collecting diecast cars, exploring the outdoors, and listening to country music.

Originally from Mexico, Santiago made his way to Greenville to finish high school—and he’s been calling it home ever since. He finds deep satisfaction in seeing a job through from start to finish and loves collaborating with the team to bring a client’s vision to life. Raymond has over a decade of hands-on carpentry experience, bringing precision and a problem-solving mindset to every job site. He has played a key role in delivering projects of all sizes, from remodels to custom homes. His craftsmanship is evident in his work (and the fact that he never leaves home without his trusty Johnson Construction Calculator!) Ask Raymond about his road trip along the Columbia River!
