At the Initial Consultation, your Project Planner will cover your ideas, pain points, and goals. We'll share realistic timelines & budgets for the project. If we both sense that we are a good fit, we will move forward with a Professional Service Agreement!
This contract allows us to plan your project in full, giving you an accurate cost upfront – before construction.
Once the PSA is signed, we perform a site analysis, document the existing space, draft floor plans, create detailed renderings, and develop a comprehensive budget.
At the Design Presentation, your project comes to life! Our Designer will work with you to make revisions until you are satisfied with the design and the bottom line. At this point, you move into the Construction Agreement.
When planning a New Build, you will meet with our Architectural Designer to create a custom floor plan that truly fits your lifestyle. Each of our custom homes is designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. Browse our Custom Home Gallery to view our past builds.
Once you've signed your Fixed Price Construction Agreement, it's time to log into Buildertrend and finalize your selections.
Buildertrend is an industry-leading online project management system that keeps all the details of your project in one place: invoices, selection approvals, project schedules, and more. Watch this video to learn more.
As a Custom Builder, we are proud to offer an endless variety of options. Our Interior Designer will guide you through choosing the perfect finishes (lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, flooring, cabinets, and more).
Once your project is through selections and on the schedule, you’ll meet the dedicated Site Manager who will be overseeing your project. They will be your point of contact throughout construction, and you will have their personal cell number.

Construction has a reputation for extending far beyond deadlines. Our Pre-Final Walkthrough allows you and your Site Manager to finalize a list of the finishing touches necessary to meet your expectations and close out your project properly. Each item is completed before the Final Walk-through, meaning your Final Walk-through is actually final!
This last stage is our favorite – you get to move in and enjoy your new space! Each Ferguson Builders project comes with a workmanship warranty and our custom homes come with an additional 10-year third-party structural warranty.
